University welcomes all supporters of African American Studies to
attend a two-day symposium to celebrate 50 years of African and
African American studies at Harvard. Both days of the symposium are
free and open to the public. Registration is not required, however,
seating for Saturday's events is limited and general admission, so
arriving early is recommended. The entire symposium will be broadcast
